Alex and Rosaria in I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone
I Bastardi di Pizzofalcone is an Italian television series directed by Carlo Carlei and broadcast on Rai 1 since January 9, 2017 . The scenario is based on the eponym novel of Maurizio De Giovanni published in 2013. The series broke record audiences in the country from the first to the sixth episode. In Naples, the police station of Pizzofalcone is in disarray, four officers involved in drug trafficking have just been dismissed. They will be replaced by a group of novices with obscure profiles. The new assistant chief is Luigi Palma, a divorced man of forty something, with a jovial temperament but an exclusive interest for his work. He surrounds himself with Giuseppe Lojacono, a brilliant inspector unfairly revoked from Sicily, with a depressing family situation. Francesco Romano and Alessandra Di Nardo are also transferred here because of their rough ways: the first was convicted of violence and the second has a pronounced taste for weapons. The only thing these agents have in common is the fact that they have nothing to lose, a character trait with good and bad sides. Alessandra “Alex” Di Nardo (Simona Tabasco) only has eyes for women in the series, she falls in love with Rosaria Martone (Serena Iansiti), the coroner.
