Je suis Paris at night, a minimalist film by Carine Lebrun
Béline, alone with people, lost in her oneiric past, remember the face of an old lover. Je suis Paris at night is a short film that competed at the sixth Nikon Festival in 2015. The work finished 115th out of 1056 participants. The story is loosely inspired by the eponym poem of Jacques Prévert where two people meet in the dark, through the lueure coming from three matches one by one struck in the night. Béline, Vénus and L’amante are portrayed by Pauline Chabrol, Sarah-Megan Allouch and Morgane Goaziou. The captured images are beautiful.
