Pusteblume, a short film by Johannes van der Loo
Pusteblume is an idealistic representation of two girls genuine frienship. The film follows Svenja Jung and Gabriela Burkhardt as they are about to leave adolescence. Both of them begin to speculate about their future lives, while apprehending a probable separation and considering each other destiny in society. Lying on the edge of a lake, they just let themselves be carried by the peaceful atmosphere of the place. As they remember the best moments they shared together, time passes and memories fade in nature like dandelion petals. After a dreamlike discussion, Svenja and Gabriela eventually vowed to remain faithful to one another and the movie consecrate their magnificient relationship with a hug in front of a sunset.
