Raelle and Scylla in Motherland: Fort Salem
Motherland: Fort Salem premiered on Freeform on March 18, 2020. Raelle Collar is one of the main characters, she is portrayed by Taylor Hickson. Raelle arrives at Fort Salem with a chip on her shoulder because her mother was punished after marrying a civilian man. As this goes against the rules of The Military that has an interest in creating and maintaining powerful bloodlines and uniting them to create super-soldiers. Raelle’s mother’s pension was affected because of her decision. The army kept her deployed almost constantly, and Raelle feels like they kind of worked her to death. She died in a firefight during the war on The Spree, under Petra Bellweather’s, Abigail Bellweather’s mother, leadership. Scylla Ramshorn, portrayed by Amalia Holm, is shy and doesn’t talk about her personal life easily. She says she’s been burned before. According to a rumor, Scylla’s parents were “draft dodgers” and were killed by the army.
