The Miseducation of Cameron Post, also known as Come as you are, is a lesbian themed movie directed and written by Desiree Akhavan. Here is a synopsis: In 1993, a teenage girl is forced into a gay conversion therapy center by her conservative guardians. The movie But I’m a Cheerleader had a comic perspective on this situation but this title takes the topic seriously. Fortunately the main character makes some friends at the camp but they all suffer under the pressure to change their orientation. The screenplay proposed by Akhavan and Cecilia Frugiuele is based upon the 2012 novel of the same name by Emily M. Danforth. The film is starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Sasha Lane, Jennifer Ehle, and Quinn Shephard.
